Parameters

sidx
The open SIDX handle created by SIDXOpen.
camera_id
The predefined text string to identify the camera. The format of a camera identification is shown in Camera identification in SIDX.
If the parameter is a null string, SIDX will try to open a default camera. The settings for the default camera is saved by SIDXSettingsSaveCamera. The location of the default settings is in the file system directory that serves as a common repository for the application-specific data. A typical path is c:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data. If the default settings cannot be found, SIDX will make the call to SIDXDialogCameraSelector to present the user the available cameras on the system.
camera
A variable to receive the created camera handle.

The return value is non-zero if the function failed, zero if it succeeded.
